Erasmus+ Partners

Erasmus+ promotes mobility in the educational field, offering students numerous opportunities to gain valuable educational experiences outside their place of study. It also provides university staff from the academic community the chance for professional development and gaining international experience at partner institutions. This program fosters cultural exchange between students and staff from all nations. Erasmus+ is designed for students and staff of higher education institutions.
  1. Where Can You Go for Erasmus+ Exchange?

To participate in international cooperation, a prior signed inter-institutional KA171 agreement with a foreign higher education institution is required. The European Commission has defined two groups of countries within the Erasmus+ program: "programme" (EU member states and third countries associated with the programme) and "partner" (third countries not associated with the programme) countries, between which student and staff exchanges can occur.

Programme Countries:

EU Member States: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Croatia, Ireland, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden

Third Countries Associated with the Programme: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey

Partner Countries:

All other countries in the world, divided into different regions (Bosnia and Herzegovina is part of Region 1 - Western Balkans, which also includes Albania, Montenegro, and Kosovo*)

Mobility is only possible from a programme country to a partner country and vice versa. Thus, students and staff from our university can only engage in mobility to EU member states and third countries associated with the programme.

Note: Our university participates in the KA171 action (mobility between "programme" and "partner" countries) and cannot participate in KA131 actions, which only allow mobility between "programme" countries.)
