NOTE FROM UNIVERSITY OF ALMERIA :

The list of courses is not fully defined yet, but here are some potential ones:

Introduction to Nanotechnology
Introduction to Renewable Energy
Introduction to Kotlin Programming for Apps
Inclusion of people with disabilities in education
Building a professional Europass CV

The final list will follow these trend: introductory courses and soft skills workshops.

The Erasmus+ Summer School is a new initiative (this is its first edition) of short courses taught by visiting professors. Most attendants (both students and professors) will be Erasmus+ grant holders, meaning that if you are selected for a grant, you'll receive a daily allowance for the period you're here, plus an additional payment for the travel, as defined in the call opened by your university. The ESS courses are free of charge.

At the moment the list of courses is not closed yet, but among others we'll have some classes related to Computer Sciences (on AI, Python, etc), Humanities, etc. Courses will range from 1 to 3 ECTS.

About accommodation, we will send selected students specific information, but I can tell you in advance that you'll have the option to stay at a privately run students dorm at Almeria that offers single and double rooms (different genders in the building, same gender in the room). Their fees are 27€ to 58€ per day, depending if the room is single/double, and if you include breakfast/full board.

CGPA equals 50 %
English Proficiency Score equals 20%
The students with no previous Erasmus+ student mobility equals 10 %
Students with the disabilities (provided that the disability is documented) equals 10 %
Extra curricular activities equal 5 %
Contribution to the IUS equals 5%
